Incorporated in 2013, City Crops Agro Limited (formerly Bhagya Agro-Care Private Limited) is an Ahmedabad-based company engaged in trading agricultural products like seeds, rice, wheat, onions, potato, tomato, isabgol and pulses. The company procures products directly from manufacturers with advance payments and sells them under its own label through a distributor network. It also does contract farming by leasing agricultural land (currently around 47 acres) to cultivate crops like cucumber, onion and castor to meet market demand. City Crops Agro employs over 8 people and reported revenue from operations of ₹348.90 lakhs in FY21 and ₹1,774.88 lakhs in FY22.
