Freshara Agro Exports Limited, formerly known as Freshara Picklz Exports, was established in 2015 and focuses on sourcing, processing, and exporting preserved gherkins and other pickled vegetables from India to international markets. The company follows a contract farming model by partnering with farmers in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and parts of Andhra Pradesh. Around 70% of its produce is sent to factories for further processing, while 30% is exported directly to food brokers and traders. Freshara offers products like gherkins, baby corn, and jalapenos in industrial, food service, and retail packaging. The company maintains strict quality and food safety standards with certifications from FSSAI, US FDA, Star-K Kosher, APEDA, IFS, and BRCGS. As of September 30, 2024, it employs 135 people.
