Incorporated in 2006, JSW Infrastructure Limited is part of the JSW Group and provides maritime services like cargo handling, storage and logistics, mainly through ports and port terminals developed and operated under long-term concessions. It is India’s 2nd largest commercial port operator by cargo handling capacity in FY22. The company handles multiple cargo types including coal, iron ore, steel products, fertilizers, edible oil, LNG, LPG and containers. JSW Infrastructure operates nine port concessions in India with a total capacity of 158.43 MTPA (as of June 30, 2023) across Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Odisha and Tamil Nadu, and also operates two terminals in the UAE. The port concessions generally have long durations of 30–50 years, giving strong revenue visibility, and the company’s Indian cargo handling capacity has grown at a CAGR of 15.27% between March 2021 and March 2023.
