Incorporated in 1994, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC is a joint venture between ABCL and Sun Life AMC and manages a large portfolio across mutual funds, portfolio management services, offshore, and real estate offerings. As of December 31, 2020, the company managed assets worth ₹2,736.43 billion across 135 schemes, including equity, debt, liquid funds, ETFs, and domestic funds of funds, and had one of the largest institutional investor asset bases in the industry. The company has also extensively digitized its operations, covering areas such as customer onboarding, online transactions, fund management, accounting, customer service, and data analytics to improve efficiency and service quality.
