Incorporated in 2007, Glen Industries Limited (GIL) is involved in the manufacturing of eco-friendly food packaging and service products. The company focuses on producing thin-wall food containers and compostable straws, catering to various sectors including Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés/Catering (HoReCa), the beverage industry, and food packaging. To meet the increasing market demand, GIL has established a new 90,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility in Dhulagarh, equipped with advanced machinery and a skilled workforce aimed at improving production efficiency and quality standards. The company exports its products to regions such as Europe, the USA, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa, customizing offerings based on local preferences. With a base of over 25 loyal customers, GIL emphasizes its commitment to quality and consistency. The product range includes thin-wall food containers, which began production in 2011 with an initial capacity of 80 MT/month, later scaling up to 665 MT/month by 2022. In 2019, the company diversified into compostable straws made of paper and PLA, achieving monthly production capacities of 95 MT and 160 MT, respectively. In 2022, it further expanded the product line with U-shaped straws designed for the beverage and dairy industries. As of May 31, 2025, GIL employed 306 permanent staff members.
